Pattern~ Skedaddle Yarn~ Fondant Fibre Superwash polwarth in the color Harmony.
It is a warm (very warm) Sunday here in Arizona, so what does one (me)knit when the heat is on? Thoughts of knitting on my scrappy blanket are all but gone as the temps are going to 100 today. But hey, that is how we do Spring.
Pattern~ Find your Fade.
An alternative to having a rather large blanket on your lap- Find Your Fade. Yep, I resisted the urge for a while, but then after seeing this project from Ajanta my mind quickly changed. Bonus she lives here in AZ, so there is an instant kinship to my fellow warm weather knitter. Have you knit one of these?
It is a rather perfect alternative to sock knitting during warmer months. What a perfect opportunity to use those skeins that due to fiber content will never grow up to be socks. Stash diving for this project was pure joy.
Pattern~ Hermione's Everyday socks Yarn~ Dyed in the Wool Yarn Co. in the colorway Macaroon.
Pattern~ Impossible Girl Yarn~ Knitting a Love Song MCN in the colorway Vintage.
The only issue with falling down the rabbit hole that is the Find Your Fade project is that my attention is diverted from finishing up all the socks. I mean to rectify that today while watching Game of Thrones, which is yet another thing that everyone has watched before me. What can I say, I will never be a trend setter. ;)
It may be rather obvious that the whining over the heat has begun. Will try to keep it in check especially for those of you that crave warmer temps.
Enjoy a song and have the best day today!
P.S. There is still time to enter the April Indie Dyer of the month giveaway!
